A Triumph of Justice

Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer has ordered Paris Hilton back to prison, to serve out her entire sentence. This is a fantastic ruling by a man who clearly understood the blatantly inequitable treatment accorded to Hilton by the county sheriff. Hilton broke the law, and her fame, celebrity, and wealth almost spared her from her just punishment. I do not believe that she was actually “suicidal,” as some reports indicated. This was a blatant deception by a pampered celebutant to escape her legal responsibility, and anyone who bought into such a ridiculous scam ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Socialitelife.com has an excellent (if crudely worded) opinion piece on this matter, with which I entirely agree!

An excerpt from Breitbart.com:

Screaming Paris Hilton Sent Back to Jail
Jun 8 03:21 PM US/Eastern

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Paris Hilton was taken from a courtroom screaming and crying Friday seconds after a judge ordered her returned to jail to serve out her entire 45-day sentence for a parole violation in a reckless driving case.

“It’s not right!” shouted the weeping Hilton. “Mom!” she called out to her mother in the audience.

Hilton, who was brought to court in handcuffs in a sheriff’s car, came into the courtroom disheveled and weeping. Her hair was askew and she wore a gray fuzzy sweatshirt over slacks. She wore no makeup and she cried throughout the hearing.

Her body also shook constantly as she dabbed at her eyes. Several times she turned to her parents, seated behind her in the courtroom, and mouthed, “I love you.”

She had been brought to court in sheriff’s custody today for a court hearing on her early release from jail after back-and-forth decisions on whether she could participate by telephone from her home.

I wonder how many tears this “woman” has shed for the thousands of truly innocent prisoners railroaded by an arbitrary and unjust legal system?
